Jews and liberals were "shocked" by National Socialist graffiti left by White racialists at a city golf course.
South Side Jews and liberals residents were "disgusted" by the slogans and logos, which included the phrases "Seig Heil" and "blacks out" as well as a swastika and the Schutzstaffel (SS) insignia. The graffiti has now been removed by council workers.
Councillor Malcolm Cunning, who represents the area for the Labour party, described the graffiti as "disgusting and disgraceful".
The Glasgow Labour leader added: "I am delighted that the Glasgow City Council graffiti team worked so quickly to rid of this utterly appalling and racist vandalism. There is no place in Glasgow for this kind of hate speech - the diversity of our city is a strength and something that we should all be proud of."
A photograph of the propaganda action was shared on social media today.
The council has a policy to remove "hateful" graffiti within 48 hours of reporting.
A spokeswoman for Glasgow city council said: "This is absolutely vile behaviour and our staff were on site this morning to have it removed as quickly as possible."
Police are investigating the incident after receiving a number of reports.
A spokeswoman for the force said: "Police have received a number of reports regarding vandalism at Linn Park Golf Club, which is believed to have occurred on the evening of Wednesday, March 23. The incident is being treated as hate crime and enquiries are at an early stage."
