In Greece, the Golden Dawn Party has been denied radio air time by the state broadcaster. This with elections right around the corner.
Workers at Greek state broadcaster ERT will be walking off the job on Friday evening in a strike scheduled to coincide with a pre-election speech by far-right Golden Dawn leader Nikos Michaloliakos.
In an announcement earlier in the day, their union, POSPERT, said that the broadcaster would be showing reruns between 7 and 9 p.m. in protest at the party’s “Nazi sermons of hate.”
“We refuse to become complicit in ‘transfusing’ racist, intolerant and hateful fascist precepts into society,” the union said.
They’ve also been denied public access space.

The municipal administration of Thessaloniki has decided not to let far-right party Golden Dawn use public spaces to campaign ahead of national elections scheduled on July 7, the news agency Ana-Mpa reported on Tuesday.
The administration has decided that 70% of spaces where electoral gazebos can be set up – overall 140 locations across the city, which is the second-largest in Greece – will go to all parties that entered parliament in 2015, with the exception of Xrysi Avgi, Golden Dawn, and the Independent Greeks and Potami, which are not running in the upcoming election.
The remaining 30% of spaces will go to groups that are not currently in Parliament and to other organizations.
How is this democratic? When you deny a political party equal access to the public airwaves and public space, you are admitting that your entire electoral system is a fraud.
And that’s what democracy is. It is a fraud perpetuated by Jews to ensure they can control societies from behind the scenes. It has nothing to do with freedom or giving people a say in how their societies are governed.
